FAQ

Q: I'm intersted in purchasing a trailer, what do I need to bring with me?

Personal:
      • -Valid Drivers License (needed for each individual on the title)
      • -Mailing Address
      • -Physical Address
Business:
      • -Company Name (as it appears on the business license)
      • -FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number or Tax ID Number)
      • -Drivers License (also needed for individual picking up the trailer if different than purchaser)
      • -Company Mailing Address
      • -Company Physical Address
      • -PO, Purchase Order (if applicable)

Q: Do you charge any other documentation or prep fees? What if I pay with a card or I'm financing?

No, we do not charge any additional fees, the price you see listed is the sales price!  Most dealers list a lower sales price and pass along "doc" and "prep" fees later, its important to get an out-the-door quote! Our opinion is to list the lowest sales price already including these fees, no confusion! Whether you choose to pay cash, card, check or are financing the price remains the same.

Q: I'm from out-of-state, how do I get the trailer home?

Out-of-state customers will receive a 15 day Moving Permit to get the trailer home and give you a window of time to get a tag from your local DMV. You will need to provide the MSO (Manufacturers Certificate of Origin) and invoice for the trailer. MSO will be mailed to the customer within 15 days to mailing address provided. Out-of-state customers will pay sales tax at their local DMV.

Q: Can you hold a trailer for me?

We require a 20% non-refundable down payment to place trailers on hold, which must be paid in full within 20 days unless other payment terms are discussed.  We can not hold trailers on someones word alone.

Q: I'm interested in ordering a trailer, whats the process?

We require a 20% non-refundable down payment to place trailers on order. Lead times on new orders depends on manufacturer, trailer model, and time of year but trailers on order typically take 3-4 months.

Keep in mind, trailers placed on order might take longer than expected to receive and unfortunately this is out of our hands. We do our best to provide accurate lead dates however, delays in manufacturing may arise (e.g., material and parts availability, shipping availability, weather, etc.). We appreciate your understanding!

Q: Whats the difference between GVWR, SW and Payload?

GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) indicates the total weight capacity of the trailer, including the trailer itself (SW) and the maximum payload you can place on top.

SW (Shipping Weight) indicates the weight of the trailer itself.

Payload is the amount of weight that can be carried on the trailer.  This is calculated by:

GVWR - SW = Payload (Carry capacity of trailer)
